Employment and Internships

A Special Wish Foundation Cleveland Chapter (ASW) is the ONLY Cleveland-based wish granting foundation, dedicated to granting wishes for children with life-threatening diseases. ASW was voted Best Children's Charity Cleveland Scene Magazine. ASW grants wishes for Cleveland-based families with life threatening diseases between birth and twenty years of age. Currently, we service 44 families at the main campus Cleveland Clinic, UH Rainbows, and the Ronald McDonald House.

Our success is due, in part, to a innovative program where ASW partners with local businesses to create splashes of joy, which help alleviate the stress these illnesses put on the entire family unit. These Splashes of Joy can include a spa day for parents, toy/food drops, date nights for mom and dad, VIP access to Dave & Busters, private Lego Store VIP play dates, etc. Once a child is healthy enough to travel with his/her family, ASW will grant their "Big Wish" (i.e. Disney World, Hawaii, etc.)
